Fabulous Lucite World Globe
on Lucite Stand
Very unusual world globe made of transparent
lucite, on its own lucite
stand. The continents,
latitude and longitude
lines, names of bodies
of water and other features
are printed inside
the globe so they will
not wear away. Being
transparent, it gives a
different view of
the world, showing how
the continents are
located relative to each
other, and makes
very clear just how much
of the world is
covered with water..
The globe is about 15"
diameter, and
the stand is 27 1/2"
tall. All together
it stands about 40"
high. It is in excellent
condition.
