This unusual and very nice early dental cabinet
was made by the Harvard Company of Canton
Ohio, circa the 1880's. It is all original,
with original brass hardware, original bevelled
glass door, original finish, and original
key to lock the door. It is Eastlake style,
with the original gallery typical of those
found on the Harvard dental cabinets of this
time period.
The upper compartment contains 6 swing-out
trays, behind a bevelled glass door. The
trays and interior are lined with blue fabric.
The large Eastlake style brass hinges and
fancy brass handles on the drawers are original.
Below the door are three graduated drawers.
It measures 25" wide, 18 1/2" deep
and 63" tall to the top of the backsplash.
It is 55" tall to the top surface. It
is all in excellent condition, with normal
wear to the finish. The Harvard mark is printed
in black on the back.
